Our Delivery timescale for stock items is 2-5 working days, Monday to Saturday.
We deliver 7 days per week within Northern Ireland only, using our own delivery vehicle. Where possible we aim to give a 3 hour delivery window. Our delivery driver will phone or text within 1 hour of delivery if requested.
Delivery is free for orders over £150 on our normal delivery service, however we charge for additional services.
We require a signature for all items upon delivery.
Delivery dates may be subject to delay (e.g. due to stock availability, manufacturing issues, or vehicle break downs) and is why we strongly advice all customers not to book fitters until they have received the relevant goods, as no claim will be accepted. We are not liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any connection regarding delay in delivery.
Whilst you are able to choose your own delivery day, we advise you are available or make provisions for an adult to be available on your chosen day to accept the goods upon arrival of our delivery team.
If you find that you cannot keep to the delivery date requested you must notify us before 12 noon one working day prior to delivery, otherwise a failed delivery charge may be applied.
Failed delivery charges may be applied in the event that a delivery fails due to (but not limited to) any of the folowing reasons.
- You cancel the order after the point at which the goods have been loaded for delivery at our Warehouse.
- You provide insufficient/incorrect contact details or incorrect delivery address thereby resulting in our inability to contact you or otherwise make a successful delivery.
- You refuse delivery upon arrival of our delivery vehicle.
- There is no-one at the delivery address to accept delivery. You must ensure that you or another adult acting on your behalf can be available within the delivery window slot allocated to you on your chosen delivery day.
- There are parking restrictions or other access problems (e.g. stairs or narrow doorways, hallways, pathways etc) which you failed to notify us about. By placing your order you are agreeing that there are no such accesses or parking restrictions which we should be aware of.
We will only delivery to ground floor properties (unless a lift is available): this can include a maximum of 3 steps, interior and exterior inclusive. Certain products may be delivered up or down a flight of stairs at additional costs using a two man delivery service but this will need to be pre-arranged.
Our delivery team are happy to wheel your product into an unobstructed room of your choice, however we cannot be held responsible for any damage incurred. It is your responsibility to protect floor coverings to prevent damage while the product or products are being situated in the property.
Once the delivery has been accepted at the delivery address you have a duty of care of the goods. In the event that you or a third party, transport the goods from the delivery address to another location we cannot be held responsible for any damages.
Pricing & Payment
All Appliances and other items sold on our website comply with all relevant UK and Republic of Ireland legislation. We cannot warrant or represent that they comply with any legal requirement outside of these areas.
All Appliances we sell are intended only for normal domestic use unless stated otherwise within the product description.
All appliances sold via our website or showroom have a minimum guarantee of 1 Year Parts & Labour unless stated otherwise. 2, 3 and 5 year guarantees are subject to the appropriate forms being completed and posted directly to the manufacturer or a product registration form being completed online via the manufacturers own website. FMCappliances will not be liable for any repair costs or associated costs if you neglected to register your product within 30 days of purchase.
All items on display in our retail store or on our website are subject to availability which can only be guaranteed while stocks last. If the goods you have ordered are unavailable we will contact you as soon as possible and offer you a suitable alternative. We will always try to deliver your goods within the specified timescale but goods are subject to availability and any delay is likely to be beyond our control. Please note also that any delivery dates specified are approximate. We cannot take responsibility for any costs or expenses incurred due to any delivery delay so if you plan to have an electrician or gas fitter install your appliance please wait until discussing this with us at the time of ordering before arranging the installation. You should ensure that all manufacturer guidelines are complied with when siting and using the Appliance or other item purchased.
Cancellations & Returns
As a consumer you have rights if you should decide to cancel your contract with us. The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 contains legislation which offers you the following cancellation rights when you buy online or by telephone: You are entitled to cancel your contract if you so wish, provided that this is done no longer than 14 days after the day on which you received goods. Your right to return products does not apply to items which have been personalised. If you wish to exercise your right of cancellation, you are obliged to retain possession of the goods and take care of them. To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel your contract by a clear statement, including details of your name, address, details of the order you wish to cancel, your phone number and email address. When we receive your intention to cancel we will send you a cancellation form if required.
A member of FMCappliances Customer Care team will then arrange to uplift the goods provided the packaging has not been opened or the Appliance installed or used in any way. Please note that a collection fee will be applied and the goods must be collected from the same address to which they were delivered,
alternatively you can arrange the return of the items within 14 days of cancellation at your own expense and we will reimburse you the amount in relation to goods to which cancellation rights apply (by the method used to pay for the original transaction). Please ensure that you choose a suitably reliable method of returning the goods to us as goods which are damaged, are unpacked, have missing components (including manuals) or go missing in transit will not be refunded at the full price.
Your refund will include the cost of standard delivery. We are permitted by law to reduce any refund owing should you fail to take reasonable care of the appliance(s) whilst in your possession. The refund will be made no later than 14 days after the day it is received by us. If an order is cancelled after the goods have left our premises, you will be charged the actual cost of collecting the item which will be deducted from any refund owed to you.
When you place an order with us we will send an acknowledgement by email and confirm availability as soon as possible. Acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract is deemed to place when the goods are dispatched unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or it has been cancelled.
We always do our best to ensure the accuracy of the details on our website. We cannot be held responsible for errors including but not limited to colour accuracy of a product listed, image discrepancies and product dimensions. The product you purchase may therefore vary slightly from the image supplied by the manufacturer and it may not include the accessories shown. We have the right to refuse or cancel orders for items which have been listed at the incorrect price whether or not the order has been confirmed. In the unlikely event of this arising we will immediately issue a credit to chosen method of original payment to the value of the original purchase. Although we make every effort to ensure that product specifications are correct on our website manufacturer developments may mean that we have to change them without notice. Product descriptions on our website should be regarded as a brief guide only. We would therefore suggest that you check all product specifications with the manufacturer before purchase.
We will not accept claims for damaged goods after they have been checked over and signed for on delivery. If there is visible damage before you sign the acceptance sheet it should be reported our delivery person and to our customer service department within a reasonable period of time.
If your Appliance is deemed to be faulty your warranty will not apply if it is due, in our opinion or the opinion of the manufacturer’s engineer, to be caused by excessive wear and tear, negligence, accidental or deliberate damage or any other conditions other than the manufacturer’s intended use of the Appliance. Claims regarding faulty goods will be subject to the Terms and Conditions of the manufacturer’s warranty but this does not affect your statutory rights. If your product appears not to be working as it should please check the manufacturer’s manual or instruction book and follow the fault-finding guide. If a product has been installed the manufacturer will send an engineer to inspect the Appliance to determine the cause of the fault. If the product is found to be installed incorrectly the manufacturer reserves the right to charge for the service call.
When installing a gas appliance a qualified Gas Safe engineer is required. You will find a qualified Gas Safe Engineer by logging on to http://www.gassaferegister.co.uk
All appliances will need to be installed by a qualified tradesperson, who will have the proper certification.

We accept Visa Debit and Visa Credit Cards, Mastercard, Maestro and BACS payment. We also accept cash in Pounds Sterling. We will accept cheques but the funds will have to clear before the goods can leave our warehouse.
Please note that when buying over the phone the billing address and the delivery address must be the same, this is to safeguard both the cardholder and FMCappliances against fraudulent transactions.
Payment on delivery- You can decide to pay on our driver on delivery by cash or card. If card payment is your preferred method we will require to see some form of iD that corresponds to the card details. All payments will be in Pounds Sterling.
We reserve the right to change or withdraw prices and products without notice if we deem it necessary. All prices include VAT @ 20% unless stated otherwise. Our delivery charges are subject to change depending on fuel costs. Please see our Delivery Page for more details.
